Only a few minutes’ walk from spectacular sandy beaches, this very tastefully furnished and well-equipped, detached stone house is set within a quiet development close to the heart of Bamburgh. The magnificent castle, links golf course, tennis court, shops, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance.
The area is renowned for its majestic castles and sleepy fishing villages. Nearby Alnwick is an appealing market town, with its famous castle, wonderful gardens and treehouse. The town has many gift and craft shops, galleries and fine eating places.
A trip to Seahouses is a must from where boat trips can be taken out to the Farne Islands, which are summer homes to many migrating birds, especially puffins. A mere 20-minute drive leads to Holy Island which is steeped in local history. There are many attractions and activities close by that will appeal to both children and adults, however the house and the area provides a perfect retreat for those wanting rest and relaxation whilst on holiday. Shops 250 yards, pubs and restaurants 300 yards.
