A sweet little detached holiday cottage with sunny courtyard, in a quiet lane near the village centre of Wolsingham, ‘The Gateway to Weardale’. Ideally situated for touring the Durham Dales, the sandy beaches of the Northumbrian coast, the lakes and mountains of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Stanhope is 5 miles; Barnard Castle, 24 miles, has a historic castle, whilst Durham city is 14 miles, offering shops, restaurants, cobbled streets, riverside walks and a 12th century cathedral. Weardale has a choice of walks for all abilities. Enjoy the wildlife and ‘High Force’, England’s highest waterfall. Beamish Museum, 15 miles, attracts many visitors to the area. Shops, pubs and restaurant 400 yards.
