Converted from former farm buildings the cottage offers contemporary living areas with granite work surfaces in the kitchen, private patio and parking, and shared use of the owner’s 17-acre grounds. The forest has way-marked walks, cycle ways and visitor centre, whilst the Durham Dales has a plethora of beautiful scenery, including High Force in Upper Teesdale with its 70ft waterfall. Durham City is 14 miles away and within an hour’s drive are the Northumberland beaches and castles. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
